TEXAS LONGHORNS
J.P Cattle Co have been breeding Pure Bred Texas Longhorns, right here in the stunning Gippsland Region of Victoria since 2020. Our first foundation cows / heifers were purchased and over the last 4 years we have discovered a strong passion and commitment to the breed. We pride ourselves on producing top quality, true to type Longhorns.
BLACK ANGUS
We have had a small herd of commercial Angus Cows on our property since 2018. We enjoy experimenting each year with new genetics from various Angus Studs around Gippsland and Victoria. Each year our calves get better and better. Whilst the Black Angus area of our business is certainly less of a main focus for our business, we still aim to continuously learn and grow our knowledge of how to improve carcass quality and growth rates of our calves.
